You haven't forgotten Appleseed, right?
>>148390891
Who?
>>148391146
Appleseed!
Deunan, Briareos, Hitomi and the rest!
>>148390891
No, but Shirow has.
Not forgotten.
I gave up on ever seeing more.
Appleseed is the absoulte pinnacle of Masamune Shirow.
Now excuse me while I go cry in a corner.
>>148391556
no it's not!
Dominion conflict is the pinnacle!
>>148391600
Dominion Conflict isn't even the pinnacle of mechanised police, a genre consiating of a stunning two franchises.
>>148391676
Noa pls go!
>>148391676
>Consiating
Consisting.
>>148391704
No. And you know it's true.
>>148392076
First off, there's at least three, including Appleseed.
And secondly the worst thing in the Dominion franchise isn't as bad as Oshii's trainwreck movies.
>>148392187
Still bitter about GitS?
>>148392284
I'm talking about Patlabor movies you silly girl.
>>148391676
Hah!
Amusing and very correct.
>>148392187
>appleseed
>dominion
>patlabor
Aintchu forgetting something?
>>148392284
mh?
>>148392187
Appleseed isn't mechanised in the same sense. And I hope you're not trying to imply that the Patlabor movies are bad. The first is outstanding and while the second is a little too political for my tastes, it's one of the most acclaimed anime movies ever. The TV show and OVAs also hit highs that Dominion simply doesn't.
>>148392508
>one of the most acclaimed
Not by people who matter.
And did Patlabor ever hit the "giant dick mines" high?
I don't think it did.
Neither did it hit the puma strip-tease high.
>>148392575
Oh wow. Talk about invalidating your own opinion in a short post.
>>148392657
Who even likes Patlabor 2 aside from irrelevant bloggers and politics nerds?
>>148392735
I like Patlabor 2.
>>148392799
I'm sure you're in one of those two categories!
>>148392837
I don't have a blog and I don't care about politics.
I like what having such disparate installments in a franchise implies about how versatile the setting is.
>>148393083
The fact that the two latter Patlabor movies are so awkward proves beyond any doubt that your setting isn't very versatile.
>>148390891
Never. Couldn't ever forget a Shirow gal.
>>148393319
What is this tiny scruffball laughing at?
>>148393291
That's an opinion.
And there's nothing awkward about the first film.
>>148393388
Your posts
But really, describing her as a scruffball is very cute.
>>148393448
>>148393291
Oh shit, I actually totally forgot there was a third movie that you were referring to.
>>148393529
A scruffball is what she is, no matter how many stylish outfits she wears.
>>148393626
A very cute scruffball.
No, but I wish I forgot Appleseed Alpha
>>148393674
Very dangerous and bad-tempered too.
Don't pet her.
>>148393742
>mfw I don't watch CGshit
>>148393825
It's not even the issue. The 2 first movies were good, especially the second
Alpha is 3DPD normalfag-tier
>>148392735
I do.
In fact, I consider it one of the best movies I ever saw.
>>148393940
God'll getcha for lyin', punk!
>>148393985
Uh... lie about my opinions? What?
>>148390891
I don't get Appleseed. Why is it so liked? I found the original manga really boring.
>>148390891
I finished the first Ghost in the Shell earlier this week and enjoyed it, is Appleseed just as light-hearted?
>>148394906
Even more so I'd say.
>>148393742
But Appleseed XIII is fine?
>>148393776
That's no fun. I bet the major secretly likes headpats.
