Where does everyone rank Zamasu when it comes to villains in the series? As the weeks go on he is slowly becoming my favorite.

Somebody explain this new DragonBall Super to me.
How is Trunks able to keep up with Blue Goku? How can he parry attacks that would be any threat to Blue Goku?
At first I thought that it was just that Zamas was just really weak and the duel between him and Trunks was irrelevant in the larger scheme of things. I didn't really understand why anybody would be horrified at finding out Zamas is immortal. I mean, who cares? It just means Goku and Trunks get to break his skull more often.

But then Zamas managed to hold both Trunks and Goku for long enough for Black to shoot them.
How the fuck?

The powerlevels seem to be all over the place. Is anybody planning this through?

Are you referring to Zamasu? His time ring allows him to travel to the future of the timeline he's in and between timelines. It also prevented black from being erased in the future when Beerus destroyed him before getting Goku's body because of god magic. This is one of the problems with the fanbase. Power levels are not the be all end all of fights within the series, which is why Toriyama dropped it. Plenty of characters over the course of Dragon Ball have been able to hold their own despite the vast difference in strength. Krillin and Gohan both did it against Frieza. We had SSJ2 Vegeta do it against Beerus through sheer rage, granted he was above SSJ3 at that point. Now we have SSJ2 Trunks doing stuff out of pure rage. Its not that crazy.

Besides as I said, Whis training was just training, its not different than any of the other training that has been going on throughout the series. Vegeta learned to utilize God Ki and SSJB much like he did when he first trained to get SSJ1. Its still through his own power that he's figuring it out and learning it essentially.

Nobody complained when Trunks went SSJ2 against Dabura or when Gohan did it against Cell out of nowhere. I'll grant the last one because Gohan had been built up with his hidden potential for years. So why is it so off that Trunks, Future Gohan's apprentice is able to learn this stuff in the presence of Gods?
