In the novel, it was her who initiated the hunt on Mei. Takako just took her place in the anime.
Izumi also didn't die from the glass, it was her who fell down and broke her neck cause she was so hellbent on killing Mei. Sakakibara too if needed.

Her "best girl" scenes were all anime original.
Sorry, but the original Izumi was an inexcusable cunt ready to kill her friends if they stood in her way.

A lot of content was twisted too.
Sakakibara in the anime stood nearly expressionless when nurse died over the phone.
In the novel, he was completely wrecked by it (By far more than anyone else. Even the truth about Reiko) and the classmates gossiped about the two.

You can't compare the two at all.
Remember the blonde girl who died driving down the cliff?
That for example, never happened.
Likewise, glasses-kun was a bro, not a killer.

They don't. The dead person doesn't know that they're dead and doesn't knowingly kill the people in the class, the curse does. The curse ends once the dead person is killed.

/a/ isn't a hivemind, I rarely see anyone actually hate Another. It was a fun show with decent characters and great animation. Pointing out that the show is completely ridiculous to the point that it is laughable is not hate.
