It was good, but I had to pause a lot to get everything. A shame the animation's so good, can't appreciate it with my eyes glued to to subs.
If they keep this pace up I hope it gets dubbed. Never thought I'd say that...

I don't get that. I didn't have to focus on the subs or anything to catch the dialogue, but a great deal of it was inane dialogue. It's the same problem bakemonogatari has - dialogue for the sake of dialogue when things can be implicit. It was honestly just detracting from everything. The main character is just goddamn annoying.

Though, any anime that gets made about 'dealing with the occult' tends to be trash.

The light speed pace and dialogue was so fun to keep up with. Sometimes I just want things to be fast, so many anime are slow paced, things like Occultic;Nine feel very fresh.
