ARC-V years 2 & 3 should've been thematically swapped. Year 2 should've been the dimension hopping, Academia fights, plot dumps, and Zarc while year 3 should've been the entame filler tourney with 20th anniversary nostalgiafagging celebrations.

Sure, but I'm still disappointed because it showed a lot of potential. It happens with every series but it's different with Arc-V because of how different it tried to be. We've never had all the summoning methods in one show, we've never had such a huge cast of characters, and the story itself while not exactly original is still somewhat new for YGO. The problem is the show tried to juggle all this shit and it ends up largely unsatisfying, for me anyways. And the worst part is a lot of Arc-V's errors could be easily fixed but it's like the staff is being retarded on purpose or something.

I don't care about Jack vs Sergei. Arc-V benefits from having the newest animation technology which can make something simple look better than a previous show. Quite frankly, Yugi transforming into Atem nearly every episode with Passionate Duelist in the background hypes me up more than nearly everything in Arc-V. Just Duelist Kingdom itself is more hype than nearly all of Arc-V.
