First attempt. Apologies in advance if it's bad.
>>148292457
Why didn't you read a single typesetting guide before doing this?
Thanks for the work
>>148293296
Hyuse's shoulder are really nice.
Thanks for the work anon, by the way !
>>148292457
Thanks for the work. Also are you going to upload it to bato.to?
>>148293342
That certainly can go wrong, but if Osamu use Hyuse as a free soldier doing what he wants on the battlefield, there is some potential to upset the other teams.
>>148293091
>ywn pat Hyuse on the head
Feels bad man
>>148294025
It's under moderation. Gotta wait I guess.
Thanks for the work. This chapter had me smiling throughout.
>>148294328
Cool. It shouldn't take too long to go up then
>>148292457
batoto link is up folks.

>>148292457
Thanks.
>>148293342
>I move at my own judgement
Guess T2 won't be sweeping the next round. Can't wait to see these two argue over tactics in the middle of the fight.
>>148293383
>>148293383
Thanks for the work anon.
>>148293383
So, if they went scouting for agents, will they come back empty-handed ?
And if not, is there one or more new agent(s) waiting next chapter ?
>>148292457
You're doing god's work anon.
>>148296158
They would have to start at C Rank
>>148296308
Sure, but if they are Tamakoma scouted, they should be pretty powerful.
>>148296158
They might have found some, just not specifically for Tamakoma. As I recall, Murakami was scouted by someone from Border, but didn't care where he was put and ended up being put in with Suzunari. So they might have found some people that are good for Border as a whole, but not that they'd want at Tamakoma specifically.
>>148296308
Well, first they'd have a provisional enlistment at Tamakoma, or another branch(or possibly HQ) for a month. They wouldn't be a proper C-Rank until the enlistment ceremony. As that just took place, it'd be a while before the next one.
>>148297007
It's more than likely Ikoma Squad was scouted too since they all have Kansai dialect
>>148293383
Place your bets : is yuri-san rindou's sister or his wife ?
She gives off a girly vibe to me.
>>148293383
Thanks anon, for real
>>148297734
Wife

>Swings his entire body and turns around towards the camera as he does Senku
Truly special
>>148292457
Is this manga as bad as black clover? I think I should try it but ForneverWorld said its the worst manga in jump right now,
>>148298558
Yes it's pretty bad. Other manga with their threads are probably better for you.
>>148298558
>Forneverworld
quality bait my man
>>148298558
>Forneverworld
Who?
>>148292664
Iko is cute
>>148292457
What happened to TLanon
>>148299171
Dead I guess
>>148299171
He hates us now.
>>148298558
>ForneverWorld
What?
Just try it out but try to stick with it for the first 20 chapters or so.
If you still don't like it's not for you. It's basically a sports manga, so lot of tactics and stuff, disguised as a battle shounen.
OTP
>>148299435
Why's that?
>>148298558
Please stay in your boku no hero threads
>>148292731
Did he just do a "Teehee~" on the first panel?
Finally I have some good internet to play Smash Borders actively.
>>148301323
That's one pointlesly sexy chika right there.
>>148299652
Looking through the last thread, I think it's because a new weird meme was generated
>>148292457
Was the group usually doing this super busy? I don't remember hearing anything.
>>148303863
Dunno. The other TL person hasn't been heard from.
So is Konami really the strongest agent?
>>148304045
I hope they're just busy and will do it later.
I'm more glad to have a translation than to not have one, but that dialect tumblrperson uses for Ikoma is grating as fuck when written instead of said out loud.
>>148303276
It could be that the anon who initially replied "5 minutes" had nothing to do with TL-anon, and TL-anon was just busy with things and stuff.
>>148306583
Well there is always Viz on Monday. But yeah the Ikoma thing was just her trying to depict a kansai dialect.
>>148292664
Did Ikoma just make words appear out of thin air?
>>148292818
Hyuse doesnt know what the hell just happened
Next chapter when?
>>148310490
Thursday
>>148299534
>basically a sports manga
Not really. I don't know why people keep saying this. That's only because of the Rank Wars which will finally end in two matches. Then we will go back to actual battles and fighting neighbors indefinitely. It's more of a tactical battle shonen with a long ass tournament arc.
>>148311638
Even neighbor fights seem kind of sportsy.
>Enemy team of 6 engage Border
>Large scale invasion was a game of defend targets trying to be captured
>Galopoula was defend target from being destroyed
>>148311785
Galopoula was like the enemy all girls high's football team.
They show some nice team work.
>>148311785
That's not sportsy so much as different than just a group of morons pulling down their pants and pushing their dicks at eachother with powerposes and flashy battle cries.
Objectives are a thing in actual battles, even if they're stupid and poorly considered ones. It's like saying hamburger hill was kinda sportsy.
Decent but not great chapter. Pretty standard "let's get through this" kind of writing which is sort of interesting for serialization since they often try to pad things out. Things should pick up soon and I expect hyuse behavioral problems.
Also I still don't get why he gets military cords and passants on his uniform.
>>148312233
The Galopoula agents were strong for the most part, they just had a shitty job to do. That and they were established to fear retaliation from Border which kind of made it hard to dislike them in any antagonistic way.
>>148312275
>Also I still don't get why he gets military cords and passants on his uniform.
Hyuse is a gaijin so he gets a more western style uniform decoration
>>148311638
>I don't know why people keep saying this
Cue the
>there's no life or death suspense in this manga
arguement
>>148313018
Ashihara does kind of talk about that in the BBF Q&A
>Q.284: World Trigger is rare for a shounen battle manga and depicts ‘group battles’, why did you think of drawing group battles? Please tell us if you have any hangups on this. (multiple)
>It is because it is easier to write developments for group battles compared to 1-on-1. There are a lot of components, so I can create or change the course of events without forcing it. Drawing it becomes very difficult though…. In 1-on-1 the protagonist must do his best with his own power, there aren’t that many factors that can tip the scales of victory and defeat, and it is very difficult to draw the battle itself so that it is interesting and satisfying. (That’s why I think many works rely on drama or a sense of exhilaration)
I guess he feels like he never really needs to rely on it
>>148313249
>sense of exhilaration
JETTTOOO GATOORIIIINNNNGAAANN!!
Heh!
>>148308850
Hyuse is cute. I want to ruffle his hair and give him back rubs.
>>148296158
We don't really need any new agents since we can just use that time to meet a scout teams. I want to meet this captain operator Kusakabe and the dual raygust user Yukimaru
>>148313249
>In 1-on-1 the protagonist must do his best with his own power, there aren’t that many factors that can tip the scales of victory and defeat
I like how those factors always seem to be either "more skill and experience" and/or "had a better strategy than the other guy" instead of how strong your mid-battle powerups are.
How would you make your team?
Me:
>Allrounder
>Attacker
>Shooter
>Sniper
>Operator
Speaking of which, i dont get why people pick Gunner instead of Shooter. Isnt that limiting yourself?
>>148314479
>Shooter
>All Rounder (Gunner Variant)
>All Rounder (Gunner variant)
>Attacker (Uses shooter triggers)
>Operator
>>148314479
Shooters dominate in mid-long range and firing from outside line of sight while gunners dominate from close-mid range. Plus I'm pretty sure that people are more apprehensive of rushing a gunner than a shooter considering they can probably fire more in a brief period of time than shooters can up close.
>>148315407
I think you have that reversed. Gunners have the range advantage when compared to shooters.
>>148314479
Attacker
Shooter
Sniper
Trapper
Operator
>>148314479
Guns are easier to pick up than shooting, and give a range boost.
It's basically trading some of the tricks you can pull off with a shooting cube for longer range and quicker mastery.
>>148314479
It depends on the kind of person you are, I'd say. Shooter triggers seem like they take a lot more consideration to use and possibly may be slower to fire(Nasu seems to negate this by having her bullets in constant option mode around her. I think Izumi does something simular, the way he always has his cubes out and ready.)
The databook also mentioned that gunner triggers are pre-set, so even things like trion partioning(power/speed/range) can't be done on a gunner trigger. The people we see using them are more "assault" types rather than "tactical" types of people, with the exception of Kitora and Miwa who use pistols for short range gunning, so guns are more suited for that kind of person I guess, who just needs to fire and doesn't need/want/can't put brains into every shot.
>>148292517
>>148292559
Something I really like about this is how the numbers are updated. We know that after Iko's first win, Hyuse won two, then two more before Ikoma caught up to tie it. That's a really good amount of information with only two pages, even if there wasn't as much flashy action in the panels. Ashihara really developed as an artist, even if people still shit on him because of the samefaces.
>>148318571
He is still really young for a manga artist and the manga has only been running for 3 months, his writing is solid but he needs to get better at character interaction and samefacing. I think his artstyle is fine but needs something else.
Its surprising how good he is at dialog when he sucks at character interaction (see chiaki)
