I think there's enough reasons given to justify the way Natsuo is and I was able to sympathize with her. I really don't think she's that much of an asshole, every fight she had was with an opponent who had accepted it, except for the bullies of her brother who deserved it and Sanae when they were younger who didn't deserve what she got (there might be something I've forgotten though).

Natsuo is an asshole for wanting to beat Yuzuko up for being so happy-go-lucky, but if you look back at the flashbacks of Natsuo you can understand why she wanted to beat her up (also remember that Yuzuko was the one who invited her to the sparr, yet she herself went all out against Natsuo right from the start, Yuzuko was unintentionally an asshole). She felt jealousy and anger towards her, being happy-go-lucky is what Natsuo herself was as a kid and wants to be (and still wants), but that only brought her pain (both physical and emotional) as she tried to conform to others but was unable and was met with hostility, as well as trying to help her brother which ultimately led to them both becoming very miserable. Her trying so hard to be happy and kind as a kid also led her to beat up Sanae, which she regrets doing. Yuzuko reminds Natsuo of her naive, happy-go-lucky self she was in the past, Natsuo dislikes what she did in the past and the what she did, naturally she'd dislike Yuzuko as well.

She didn't just do it to any random person, and not only for satisfaction. Natsuo felt jealousy towards Ganeko because she has a good relationship with Sanae and Natsuo could've been the one in her current position (back to the way it was in the past is what Natsuo wants to an extent). It is also very apparent that Ganeko dislikes Natsuo because she's bothering Sanae, at least from her perspective.

Besides Sanae and Ganeko she didn't antagonize anyone from what I remember, I wouldn't say she did that to Yuzuko (who has yet to feel anything bad being around Natsuo).

It's more about her being kind, wanting to be happy, feeling guilty for what she did and wanting to be accepted (praise is a form of acceptance). Her brother was kind to her (in her eyes) by praising/accepting her. Her brother was the one who made Natsuo feel guilty for him, she felt responsible for making her brother become miserable and a shut-in. Since she was strong enough to defend her brother from his bullies and since she could, she felt it became her responsibility to do so. She also wanted to be happy and was kind, meaning she'd do it for her brother and herself. Because of her being so "perfect" through the eyes of her brother who felt so inferior, he became jealous (the jealousy towards Natsuo started with the Van Damme kick which she could do). Natsuo feels guilty for being so "perfect" (kind, talented, caring, strong and happy), further forcing her to do things she really doesn't want to for the sake of her brother, which leads to her beating Sanae down.
