Am I the only one who found this anime unironically beautiful with an amazing intro and ending theme?
Second greatest love story ever told.

I realize what you're trying to do but I'm being serious. This anime is truly beautiful and I actually enjoyed it fully.

I get you, OP. YnS is, so far, the only romance anime I've loved.
Sora best girl.

It helps if there is some shit to compare it to.

It is a well regarded anime, though, and not just for the wincest. For instance, I've read positive opinions about the MC and omnibus format.
Yosuga no Sora is actually a masterpiece. The music is hauntingly beautiful too.
genuinely good or great anime/manga with incest themes:
Angel Sanctuary (only the manga. the only anime is a half-assed three episode OVA)
Koi Kaze
Yusuga no Sora

See I have absolutely no clue what YnS is about besides the wincest end and the fact that you people use it to bash the greatest love story ever told.
Some quick questions for YnS fans. Humor me. Or don't.
>obviously the elitism is motivated by keeping "the kind of people" who watch OreImo out but did any of you enjoy both series?
>wincest was not my reason for picking up OreImo nor the reason I enjoyed it. Is YnS literal incest fanservice? No offense but I rarely see posts about anything else.
>is YnS in direct competition with OreImo for greatest love story ever told or are they entirely different series that never compete outside of "muh incest" threads?
The love this series shows is amazing and I've never seen anything like it besides maybe in Romeo and Juliet. It's beautiful and it has I want to say a depressing theme that lingers with he series but I feel like the series wouldn't be he same without it. There always seems to be a undertone of sadness despite what's happening onscreen. I can't discribe it but it's there and he color pallet helps a lot. It's truly a beautiful series and one of my favorite anime.
