Yes.

But more than the aesthetic, what I'm drawn to is the whimsical contrast to the bitterness of real life.

A lot of anime is based on this concept. (Young girl falls out of the sky and makes boy's life interesting), but Flip Flappers takes it to another level.

The girls are almost tripping out on drugs while they have "adventures". This time it was over a lost pair of glasses. The challenge of retrieving the glasses increased the closer Papika got to them.

I'm REALLY interesting in seeing where this goes.
