Kid Buu was significantly weaker than Buuhan, who got wrecked by Vegito, meaning Vegito would have trashed Kid Buu. In BoG, Goku states that not even a Fusion of himself and Veggie would give him enough power to fight Beerus. Since Gogeta never happened in the manga or anime, we're to assume he means Vegito. SSJG gave Goku the power to fight Beerus somewhat evenly, though Beerus was still holding back a good amount. Even so, in his suppressed state Beerus is still obviously stronger than Kid Buu.
