Why is it somehow i knew it's chinese when i was watching it? I had a the feeling even before i looked it up, and i'm not even chinese or anything.

I know that it has a japanese director. If anything if there's anything great that comes out of this show it's the quality animation.

It's just that the comedy and everything felt pretty much foreign (chinese). I'm not sure if that can make it easier for targeted japanese audience to understand them. If i were to handle it i would make the script feel a little more.. japanese?

I usually skip comedy since anime comedy is almost always too tame but I liked this one and that other short. I missed Nabeshin stuff.

I dunno what I just watched but I think I enjoyed it.

Compared to the original Chinese version which was streamed last year, looks like they changed the design of that "plumber", some of the BGM and SFX to avoid copyright issues

It still has that Nabeshin charm but like others have said, it's boring. Which sucks because even while being over the top and rapid fire with the comedy, it still falls short. Maybe it will improve but expectations are low.
