What? Natsume's a shoujo and this is a shounen, so if anything it'd be the other way around. I wouldn't call them the same kind of thing, anyway.

There's an overarching plot in the manga, but since it's just 3 or 4 OVAs, there probably won't be anything happening.

not really. there's slow development of characters over the span of 6 or so volumes out. but it still feels like the girl and magician are just breaking the ice on their relationship. aside from that no major developments at all. it's like really slow and comfy slice of life more than anything

on the surface you get that vibe (because elias is several centuries old) but remember from their initial meeting chise's impression of elias has been that he gives off the aura of a child. the story really is filled with nurturing and understanding, and the slow process it takes to get to truly know one another
