I don't know why this would need explaining. It's not like the ripple TURNED INTO stands. Ripple was one thing and then the Arrow that came from an ancient alien meteorite is what creates stands. When DIO awakened his stand it awakened stands in the other Joestars, including Holly, Joseph, Jotaro and Josuke.

There just weren't any vampires around really so no need to use the ripple.

Couldn't have been. Kakyoin had his stand since childhood which made him feel like an outcast. DIO preyed upon this feeling of being left out / misunderstood to get Kak to join him.

For the record, Polnareff also had his stand from a young age as well since he is able to use it after being de-aged by Sethan.

Either they developed their stands naturally or wore born with them (which seems to be a thing, didn't Tonio develop his stand naturally?) or Araki is just being inconsistent with his lore... yet again.

Since it's a two parter, it'll probably be like most of the other two parters, in that the first half will be mediocre Korean smegma, and the 2nd half will get all the attention and budget.

As much I think the rebooted universe is much better than the original universe, does anyone else wish that they still made content for the original universe. Overall, David Production made a good anime.Objectively, a lot of the animation, direction, and music isn't terribly great, but I want to replace it in the context of a minor studio doing this job. It sorta evens out. It could have been better, but it would have been asking too much for DP. I can't say I love the anime though, it's a goodie, it's here to expose more the manga, which everyone should read.

To be frank, if the anime's cancelled, I wouldn't care much. Seeing the derailing that is DiU, I don't really want DP to continue adapting JJBA. JoJolion is scheduled for French publication soon anyway.

They come across Pucci and Manhattan Transfer, who attack them. Rubber Soul's stand is stolen (explaining how Pucci disguised Whitesnake as Weather Report that one time), and Hol Horse just barely escapes.

It then reveals that the whole story was a flashback told by Hol to Jotaro and his apprentice at the Speedwagon Foundation, Hayato, a few months before Stone Ocean.

Alternatively, a chapter taking place just after the end of Stardust Crusaders. Oingo and Boingo decide to go clean and become mangaka, only to be on the same plane as Jotaro and Joseph. Doppio is originally part of the part 5 gang - nobody really knows what his stand is since all he has is King Crimson's arms and Epitaph, he doesn't really know himself, but he takes the calls from the boss in secret from the rest of the group and turns into the boss occasionally. Diavolo wants to use Trish as a lure for the execution squad to kill them all and finally her. During the first KC fight Doppio fakes going to the bathroom or something, turns into Diavolo and kills Buccellati, then stays with Fugo when the group betrays the boss, later joining up with them and then the story follows from there. Spice Girl is activated fairly early on and gets more than one fight. Also, the assassin squad is bigger and has ten members plus Gelato/Sorbet so we can actually get fights for all of the crew, and Fugo becomes a minor villain in endgame. Diavolo also succeeds in getting King Crimson Requiem, and Doppio, who does not die in Buccellati's body, somehow sacrifices himself to get the arrow out of KC and into Giorno's hands.

Well, alternate version is hard to say. Technically speaking, there is no such things as alternate versions in the SBRverse, just similarities in character names and the bloodlines. However, the one thing that seems to be a universal constant is that Diego will be born bad, grow up evil, hate the Joestars, and have The World (and ended up getting Scary Monsters in the Corpse world due to Corpse shenanigans) and Yoshikage Kira will have a love of hands and very similar personalities across universes, along with Killer Queen.

So I'm guessing Diavolo in the SBRverse will once again be a recluse who hates people knowing his identity and has King Crimson, and for Pucci...I really don't even know. The 'similarities across universes' definitely seem to only apply to the villains, not the Joestar lineage, for some odd reason.

well I think that they all the alternative versions of characters have the 'same' soul, but through random chance some of the AU versions will have different life experiences that will affect their personalities, changing their soul and thus, changing their stand.

In regards to a constant, I belive that 'Gravity' may be at play here, my undestanding of it was that some people are fated to meet as if they were atracted to each other, like the red thread of life tied to their pinkies. And that is true for their souls, eg: the soul of Jotaro was fated to meet Josuke's soul, so let's say that Josuk8 (who technically has Josuke's soul) and that Kyo (who might as well have Jotaro's soul) met, as it was ment to happen, because their souls are tied to meet.
And that is true for EVERYBODY.

Having said that I don't know what to make of Josuk8, him being a combination of Kir8 and Josefumi could either mean that whoever they were fated to meet have now combined? Or his destiny is now totally new? I don't know.
