I rate things, but only for my own reference because I can forget what I thought of shit. It allows me to quickly put stuff into context. I also write actual notes with my thoughts on most shows once I've finished. It's nice to come back to them after a rewatch, so I can contrast how I felt the first time I saw the show. I don't show them to anybody or post about them or anything.
