The only good thing to come out of the Fate series is the recent UBW anime.
That's it.
Everything else has been mostly trash or utterly embarassing with a few hints of good story and ideas in there.

If they can take apart the entire clusterfuck and redo it all but center it around ubw and shirou's rather DEEP unintentional deconstruction of not just the shounen but archetypal hero cut saber and her/his whole thing down to the barest minimum, make rei the heroine and bring in all of the most well liked storylines and servants masters they'd have an amazing series.

But they won't.

Technically speaking, it's MORE chuuni than Naruto. Naruto doesn't go around butchering foreign languages in an effort to look cool. Fate kinda does. It's only similar to Naruto in the powerlevels, fighting, and the MC character growth arcs with trying to find the reason that you're even fighting onward while having that really far out goal from the beginning.

I think that people overall, both the fanbase and the hatebase, take Fate far too seriously. The original VN was pretty high on the chuuni scale and plenty of the other official spin-offs are gags. The strength of Fate is the authors ability to invest you in the story of interesting but ultimately fairly shallow characters so you forget the overall silliness of the work and just enjoy the ride. The Reverse Moon scene in HA is probably the best example of this in the franchise.

The other strength of Fate is how the author constantly finds ways to explain or excuse all the bullshit he pulls in ways internally consistent with the world. The only time this doesn't apply is with some of the F/GO genderbends. Take Edison for example, plenty of people take one look at it and dismiss him as the Shitty Memelion but there is a reason for everything there that makes sense, then they dismiss the reason because they take the work too seriously.

The entire franchise could be summed up with Nasu's favorite phrase:
