It's rare to come across a manga brimming with ideas every chapter such as Franken Fran (although its episodic nature does help). Last chapter took me by surprise and made me feel.

I love it because the author uses pseudo-science to explain whatever experiment Fran does.
My favorite chapter was the one with the mascots.
Also, Veronica was the best Madaraki creation, Fran second and Gabrielle the worst.

It's alright, but it lost steam about 2/3 of the way through when the author cut out a lot of the body horror. That said, the 3D-2D chapter is absolute gold.

Totally forgot how much I loved this series, and that a the tanslated volumes came out, I know what to do now.

It's still a shame the volume covers are pretty much H doujin's ones though, it doesn't fit the series at all. Opposed to this one who is perfect, it's a shame.
