I want another series as solid as this.

It was my gateway anime. I recently rewatched it thinking that I wouldn't like it as much since I've had more exposure to the medium now.
Nope, it's still that fucking good.

It's a very entrylevel anime, meaning that it's very easy to watch it if you're not someone used to anime, and also an excellent anime. Godtier soundtrack, nice visuals and interesting characters.
It's a classic, everyone should watch it.

Pretty good, though I felt there was a bit too much dialogue in fights, especially in Jin's final fight with that government samurai.

Like comparing it with Cowboy Bebop's last showdown. They face eachother, start fighting, take a small break to say a few last words, then finish the fight.

The samurai talked a fair amount, then we got a flashback to Jin and his master about that last technique, which if needed to be said at all probably should have been said after the fact.

But yeah, it was still pretty good.
