Ryushiki is a hack, and the nip won't give him the light of day. Higurashi/Umineko being "god tier" is purely a western phenomenon because its one of the early, and few epic sized VN translated.

The Higurashi VNs aren't anywhere anymore. Only mangagamer is translating them and releasing new releases on steam. That's how I've been reading it. It's a recent adaption.
