Does /a/ find it annoying when the heroines in anime have an underdeveloped or completely non-existent "plot?" Does it really matter so long as they have an adequate "backstory?"

Anime doesn't need much plot to be entertaining. It doesn't hurt for sure, but too much plot is a lot worse than no plot. Backstory is always good to flesh out characters, though.
