I watched and enjoyed the first two seasons but for some reason never got around to 3 or 4. I've been thinking about (re)watching the show lately. I've never checked out the manga. Also Mou-chan is the best and most perfect girl.

Battle Vixens is a dinosaur in the modern age.

The ecchi isn't on the same level as modern shameless ecchi shows, and it's not like the plot is anything to write home about ("Chinese Warlords are reincarnated as CUTE GIRLS and they fight to unify Japan--wait, isn't Japan already united? SOMEBODY SUMMON ODA NOBUNAGA AS SEIBA TO STOP CHINESE AGGRESSION!")

ARMS is my favorite studio, mostly because of ikkitousen and queen's blade, but everything they've made since 2012 has bombed and they haven't had a singe show for a year. now it seems like IMS is the go-to studio for trashy animes, even though they aren't nearly as good. it's not fair.
