Rather without electricity all the screens and cameras wouldn't work, which not only meant there would be no new attackers but also the cameras were required to trigger the bracelets. Made fun of all his life for being girlish, so he went "Fine, then I'll be a girl then, then maybe I'll be happy", but he wasn't happy. It still felt just as shitty if not more shitty, as he realized this isn't what he really wanted. He actually wanted to be a man. So he started working on himself to improve, he'd change, he'd be honestly, and he'd become a real man for real this time. He would face his lies and over come it. Even secretly train every night so he could have muscles. He was so many that it caused a gang-leader to feel so emasculated that he flew into an insane rage, because he realized the trap was more of a true man than him.

He was the one who least deserved to die. Along with moralfag. Game was separated between people who kinda deserved it, and the ones who really didn't.

Sad to see the pictures at the end of the game where they were all together, and you realize that all the character arcs they're currently overcoming and undertaking, they've already been through before in the past together as friends and have this huge history together. Chihiro already came out to all of them as a boy and had that character arc, and became a man. Not that he remembers it. They've all already gotten over their shit already, only to have it reset. Also Junko a bitch who killed her own sister, and her sister turned out to be cool in that "what if" story. Junko a bitch who killed everyone, and the entire world, for no reason other than "despair".

Makoto and Chihiro are my 2 fave dangan boys for that reason. So full of hope. When class 78 met at the killing games Chihiro mentioning that he feels like he'd seen them all before, those strong feelings for his friends shining through. Revealed in Kodaka 2014 Christmas tweets that Chihiro cried at their last Christmas together, for some reason he thought this'd be the last time they'd spend Christmas together. Do wonder if this paranoia led him to creating the the AIs we see SDR2

Juzo took a risky chance. No one knew how it worked and for all they knew the bracelets could've released poison if they were turned off by force.

I could be wrong but the real reason to why the bracelets came off was because they figured out who the killer was, well in this case they figured out how it worked hence why the game ended.
