It has nothing to do with forgetting, most of the people who actually discussed the show aren't still here. It was the trendy normalfag show of the season and the moment it ended they started leaving /a/ because they don't watch any other anime or care about any kind of long-term discussion about anime.

Hopefully the fanbase grows out of their anime phase within the next few weeks and things calm down somewhat.
