We need a redrawer who can manage some pretty unfair redraws, and we need them now-er rather than not now-er. If you're looking for an irrational challenge to put on your scanlation resume, this would be it.

I have no idea how it works in some cases (Like Niggastream) but most people do it for fun/love for a series.

I used to work on a Hayate no Gotoku when there were like 100 chapters between the scanlation and the Japanese release, mostly because I loved The End of the World Arc and wanted more people to be able to read that part of the manga.

That is for the traffic they get, but I doubt they actually can sell enough ads to be that valuable for anyone.

Still that is a good approximation of how much money they could be making per year (since the rule of thumb is you are worth 7 times your annual revenue)

Groups should earn something from ads if they want to, but I'd say it's like pocket change for most unless you're like mangastream.

Hentai groups earn maybe better than regular groups because of commissions, but that's very inconstant.

Then there's the idiots like me who do it for fun, doesn't earn a single penny from it and just waste thousands of hours into it because yes.
