Jotaro's potential daddy issues are never really expanded upon (althought I guess they're potential for a reason, he might support the idea of his dad touring constantly), and that makes me pretty sad. I've said before that Part 3 has the basis to be a really good part, but Araki wasn't the best at writing when he was making it and thus ended up being a bit of a mess.

Honestly, I think that the Sadao shit and Jotaro's own issues are pretty self-explanatory. Due to lack of an active male role-model (as well as probably being an actual sperg) Jotaro has tremendous issues with expressing himself, believing that everyone can read his emotions clearly even though he's closed off as all fuck. It's only when he's forced into a situation with a bunch of people that he actually develops meaningful bonds with them, and even then he's a very reserved and independent guy.

I really struggled to sympathize with PHF Giorno. He had his reasons for doing what he did, but he lied to and dehumanized his men, and sent them to their deaths in a manner eerily reminiscent of DIO. A cool character to be sure, but it was hard to think of him as a hero by any means.
