Who truly has the better one? Nelvana or Animax?

I would normally say Animax because it's not a heavily edited 90's/early 2000's dub but apparently there are a bunch of people out there who inspite of that actually think Nelvana did better overall. So what does /a/ think?
Who cares? Post Sakura

Stopped reading there
I never knew there were two in English.
I only watched it inFrenchwhen I was younger.
Which one does she sound like an adult.

Which ever one had the singing lady from FoxKids

The Nelvana dub has her sounding rather old for an 11 year old girl.
The funny part though? Nelvana cast an 11 year old girl to play her. Yet Carly McKilip, despite being the same age as Sakura sounded far far older.

Actually the Nelvana Dub, done by Oceans, is in fact not heavily edited. I have the new re-release from NIS, and less than 3:50 throughout the whole 70 episode was ever edited out.. It a myth oft repeated.

It's true. Nearly all of the fuckery was done by the US networks. In places like Australia and New Zealand where the network executives aren't goddamn morons the series aired in full (all 70 episodes in order) with English versions of the Japanese songs.

So as an American, I could track down the full Nelvana dub on DVD and it will be untouched by all the shit 4kids did independant of Ocean or Nelvana?

It does have the English names like Madison and the sexuality is still 'cleansed', but other than that it's pretty 4kids free.
