I pretty much like many 90s and early 2000s dubs for the nostalgia. It's when the VAs start to try and sound cute -- that's when things start to fall apart.

When I was young I never imagined myself watching subbed anime... but now here I am and it's all I watch. The only dubs I can tolerate are Big O and Cowboy Bebop.

solid 8/10's are rare desu nowdays the best of anime's that start off a 10/10 drop off to about 6 and under once the budget is used up or the story becomes simply stupid

I'd say so, I can't think of any mistranslations if that's what you mean. It gets a little corny at times but that's part of the charm.

The first 5 or so Inuyasha episode are really good. They establish a world, characters, and motivations well and kagome is either naked or being fondled for half of her screen time. After that is when it starts to really REALLY suck.
