Pucci's very strong, but his power seems to vary a lot. On several occasions he only stayed alive because he used the heroes humanity against them, Jotaro and Jolyne would've both been able to kill him if he'd been playing fair.

My money might actually go on Valentine, if he was smart like Lucy then he'd have just gone to an alternate dimension, waited till his enemies slept (or were killed by something else) and start a head-collection, so he could return to the root-world and throw them at anyone who dared fuck with him. And he's held back by the limits of his time (like the shitty pistols) too, give him access to modern weapons and technology and he'd be a monster.

For me it always depends on what Killer Queens explosion actually does; with Shigechi, the explosion completely vaporizes him so that there is seemingly nothing left in existence, and even obliterates his soul. If that's what Killer Queen does, an explosion which isn't just an explosion but actually erases all matter of a person from existence, then theoretically he could kill anyone with a one hit kill, if he lands it.

That and with BtD, the he could just reveal himself, go back in time, then not even meet anyone and they'd just blow up anyway.

One question, if Kira hit BtD on Diavolo during Erased Time, would he still go back in time or not? Since the explosion was deleted? How can more time be Erased after the explosion if it never happens?

There is no single line of text in the series or any word from Araki that suggests KQ has the power to annihilate souls. There are canonically stands that can erase souls (Tusk act 4, MIH) and those have their abilities talked about in detail, as it's an incredibly big deal.
Every other character that's died has had their soul vanish away into nothing shortly after manifesting, sometimes it's just gorier than others.

Damo's a good start. I liked some of the more diverse enemies in SBR and SO too, there were a ton of ugly characters mixed in with all the models. Still, on the whole JoJo is dark without being bleak. The only ally character to become an enemy later on is Streizo, but most of the allies were enemies before they became friends. And while death and suffering is a constant threat, the characters aren't ruled by fear and grief and don't turn into angsty messes, even when it'd be entirely justified. Fugo being an enemy would make an already-dark part even darker and would sour all of the gangs previous friendly interactions, so I'm kind of glad he didn't go through with it.

Other way around, the plan was for Fugo to be a double agent but along the way he and Giorno actually become pretty close, like Giorno and Mista did. Then when it comes time to actually betray them, Giorno and Fugo end up having to kill each other, with Giorno eventually coming out on top. Araki couldn't bear to write it let alone draw it happening at that point because of his depression so he decided to write Fugo out entirely instead. He freely admits in an interview about that pre-PHF Fugo LN that it was because he wasn't 'strong' enough to write it but he's still glad because he managed to give a good ending to Fugo where he helps out his friends one last time. It would have been cool to see the original plan come true though, it had potential to be one of the most upsetting but powerful moments in the entire series.

I think it could work without being bleak, the ending of Part 6 isn't bleak at all but it's still very upsetting. And I doubt Fugo would just straight up be like 'I never meant any of what I said I'm a bad guy' and he's have quite a few reservations about it. I think it's all about context really, we don't know anything else about what was planned other than 'Fugo was a double agent', he might not have even known he would be called in for some reason or it might not have been a thing from the beginning or he might have had a perfectly reasonable reason for doing it. We'll never know though which is unfortunate but oh well.

It would've been cool if Fugo had been a double-agent who grew increasingly hesitant about actually having to kill his friends. And instead of killing him, Giorno tapped into his charisma reserves and talked him down, citing everything they'd been through and everything more than just another loser assassin that Fugo could be. It would've helped emphasize just how good at reading and manipulating people Giorno was, but that he would choose to use his talents for kindness and good leadership rather than wickedness like DIO.

Man, now I'm pissed off that this didn't happen, it could've worked well.
