It didn't try to make something serious of itself at the beginning, giving me time to get invested into it. Its stupidity was absorbed by its self-aware series premise but even then, I didn't expect it to be anything more than it would have. But keeping up with a series began to make me naturally care about it and it's one of the few things I bother read anymore.
