ITT: Your Anime Ideas

A man is sent on a mission to save harem anime. He is transported into an anime world as its main character. He's ready to break all cliches and fuck every girl, but then he's told that he can't confess or accept a confession or he'll die a horrible death, intended to enforce the longevity of the series. How will our self aware hero use every stupid trick in the book to avoid breaking everyone's heart while girls throw themselves at him? And will he find a way to rebel against the omnipotent writers?

Humans, elves, dwarves, beastmen, demons, spirits and fairies lived in prosperity. No wars, no violence, just peace. One day, a box was gifted from a woman to one of each race and a last one being locked. It was never to be opened. But curiosity overwhelmed the kings and by fate, they all opened at the same time. The Greed of humans, the Sloth of spirits, the Lust of fairies, the Pride of beastmen, the Gluttony of dwarves, the Envy of elves and the Wrath of demons. Desires and sins swept across the races. The world became imperfection. And soon, destruction emerged as one final box was opened. But it was locked. It became the final piece of destruction. Apathy, despair and disobedience. And it was opened from within itself. From then on, no mortal being was without sin. They culminated all of the deadly and detrimental sins. Wars erupted, hatred towards each race, and civil war to achieve dominance has made itself apparent. This went on for centuries and in the end, the races became divided with unrest. A young boy emerged one day. He looked human, but was he? Does he even know of his own origins? What is his purpose? He is very symbol of humility, kindness, abstinence, chastity, patience, diligence and kindness. But as he wanders his path, he meets a certain girl. A girl who calls herself Pandora. A girl who also shares the same virtues as he. What will come of this journey across the world?

It was once tradition for people to create sky lanterns, sending their prayers along up towards the heavens, and hoping their messages would be answered. An app available for augmented reality devices renovates this ancient tradition: personal handwritten requests are now contained in virtual sky lanterns publicly released into the night sky.

People with AR devices, such as contact lenses, smartphones or glasses, can see these messages under the viewing options. The story follows two individuals encountering each other in a city, competing to answer these sky lanterns.

One of the individuals is a young woman volunteering for the recognition. She desires to improve her karma profile, a popular online trend designed to record and review altruistic actions. The second character is a heartbroken young man, answering the sky lanterns to cope with separation.

Discovering these motives fosters concern: the young woman realizes the young man is answering the sky lanterns to neglect the changes in his life, while the young man recognizes the young woman is using the sky lanterns in hopes of being noticed, avoiding her vacant life.

As the two characters work together for certain requests, they begin to show their concern for each other, creating a bond that helps them cope with the separation and isolation in their lives.

A secretary for an anime devil is tasked to round up every single girl that lost the harem bowl and drag them down to anime hell. However he doesn't really want to do it, not because he felt sorry for all those girl, but because he doesn't feel a point in doing his job. That being said, his job is his reason of existing, thus he felt into a deep existential crisis, followed by depression. I don't really know how to continue this story.

He uses scientific methods and statistical measurements around town to track down the path of an elusive and mysterious local rain source which turns out to be some kind of weather/fertility god girl his age that lets it rain wherever she goes.

But that was the easy part, the hard part is befriending her!

As the episodes go, he is getting built up as this unbeatable badass with the heart of gold, and by the end of the series he almost claims the entire city for himself, when in the last episode he gets shot in the forehead. Alien Nanomachines arrive to earth on the Apophis asteroid in 2036, infected old war machines, and giving them sapience. These machines befriend humans for the most part and they find a life partner/mate. They go through a training regimen in an academy specially designed for these 'dire machines' to fight evil 'success machines', things infected with the alien nanomachines that became evil due to glitches in programing, viruses, or being rejected by humans.

the human partners of the dire machines must deal with the fact that their continued coitus and in general partnership/being around their partner machine a lot slowly corrupts them overtime with nanomachines. Starting with discoloration of extremities and eventually parts of their bodies being covered in metallic plates or losing the ability to have normal human children.

And no the dire machines are not cute girls, they are straight up main battle tanks, planes, and ships.

MC is an incredibly talented artist with a great deal of passion for his work, spending just about every waking moment working on improving his craft. Painting, drawing, wood carving, you name it and he can do it.

One day, while out in the woods taking pictures to use as reference, he comes across a pool of crystal-clear water beneath a massive tree. He scoops some up in a bottle and decides it might be fun to use it for some watercolour painting later.

He begins a new portrait of a dog, and the moment he feels satisfied with what he's done, the dog leaps from the canvas and stretches out on the floor as though he's always been there. MC begins experimenting, using the water on all kinds of paintings before he finally returns to a portrait he never finished. It's of a beautiful young woman, and he could never really decide what to do about her eyes. He finally decides to put on the last touches, and of course she comes to life as well.

He can't hide it forever, and word soon gets out that he can bring his art to life. He starts getting requests from all kinds of people around the world, some of them very rich, to create companions, pets and employees for them. Some even ask that he bring back the dead.

Only after painting hundreds does he notice his dog beginning to fall seriously ill, losing colour and falling quiet.

This shit is basically like gate, I know but, I've been having shitty ideas lately.

Fantasy world. Knights, elves, orcs'n shit. 1960's American military pop in. But in hostile orc territory.

squad of soldiers die horrifically in ambush. Orcs keep pushing. Attention is turned to the foreign people that appeared. War has started with orcs.

Literally Vietnam but against orcs. Brutality, Agent Orange, dead orc children, napalm, the whole shebang.

Nearly extinct orcs. Lesson learned that even though orcs are seen as monsters, anyone can be monster if pushed.

A gloomy young man and a slightly creepy young woman end up getting together and starting a family right out of school, having a son along the way. After over 20 years together, the wife passes away very suddenly and the husband is left on his own, just a short time after his son moves away. He's still gloomy, but doesn't really look his age and is faced with the idea that if he doesn't start moving soon he'll end up spending the second half of his life alone. While he loved his wife, he knew that she would want him to move on. He's just not sure how after only being in one weird relationship.

That's when his son suddenly returns, crashing his life like it's some kind of party. He's nothing like his father, a womanizer and dandy who works as a host. He never had a strong bond with his dad, but he felt he was still raised well and decides to help his dad out with finding a new woman. He loved his mother dearly, and knows his dad will be uncomfortable starting over, but he also knows that if he lets him, his dad will never try again. He gives him time to mourn before beginning their new quest: to teach dad some fucking self-respect.

Watch a recovering father and his son, the ultimate wingman, take to the streets and show the older women of conservative japan what's up. Perhaps dad will even see he had more going for him than he thought.

The guerilla warfare and war crimes angle would work well, it's just hard to sell a vietnam story to Asians, you know? They tend to stay away from the 20th century in their fiction for the most part, particularly with war stories. The idea's perfectly valid and permissible here, but in the context of pitching an anime not so much.

Giving it a more original setting with parallels to the vietnam war rather than direct allusions and references might work better. Shit like the soldiers using toxic plants instead of agent orange. Just having a thin extra layer of fantasy would work better and give you more creative freedom.

Isekai but with a magician or alchemist coming from a fantasy world to ours and using his knowledge and wits to get rich.

The nerdy son of an English Naval officer born in the 1400s learns magic from a kindly librarian come wizard, and is sent to New Zeland, a place where magic is still out in the open, to study the forgotten arts of Thaumaturgy. Meets interesting people, like a hedonistic Swiss alchemist with a rapier, a mysterious female thief, and a crazed cult leader dead set on bringing about the end of days.

On the gangs final attempt to shut down the cult for good, they all die.

Except they fucking don't.

The Thaumaturge is captured by the cultists and forced to become a Lich, to be used as a magical focus in a ritual to summon Eldrich abominations from a space beyond space, the Swiss becomes a vampire in order to escape death at the hands of the cultists, and the rouge just faked her own death because she's not interested in becoming a big gorhamn hero.

The Lich escapes imprisonment by murdering everything in sight, taking his phylactery a black inky sword, surrounded by a dark mist, from the side of the cult leader, before escaping back to England to avoid capture/torture at the hands of the cult. Struggles to come to terms with his lichdom, believing himself to be an inhuman monster.

The Vampire, believing his friends to be dead and much like the Lich, not quite wanting to accept his inhumanity, he sets out to take every drug known to man, and spend the rest of his immortal life high as fuck.

The Lich returns to England, and learns more about the terms of his Lichdom. He is an incomplete Lich, with half his soul stuck in a phylactery, and the other half still puppeteering his corpse. He also learns that due to this, people will naturally distrust him because his soul is leaking all over the place, and whilst normal people can't perceive a soul, they can sense it, and they won't like what they sense.

He is recruited by the chivalric Order Of The Raven, an Order dedicated to protecting the crown and it's holdings from enemies using the powers of magic and the Cont.

...using the powers of magic and the paranormal. Pulling himself out of his deep depression, he dedicates himself to this goal, to protect England and her colonies. During his time with the Order, he proves himself time and time again, becoming a Knight, and then a Baron.

After Cromwell takes over, however, the Order is struck from the records, thrown to the side, and forgotten by all, drifting from a rumor, to a tale, to being completely forgotten entirely.

This suits the Order just fine. They can accomplish their goal with the support of their members alone. Though the Lich is apprehensive about separation from the "Crown" his hatred of Cromwell manages to overcome his concerns.

During the whole "Empire" thing, the Order massively expands it's ranks, becoming a secretive but powerful magical order, with agents in or around most major political figures. In essence, they become the magical Illuminati. The Lich doesn't care though, he's just concerned with fighting for Britain, and the Crown.

We'll skip ahead a bit, mostly all he does is fight a lot. Rorke's Drift, the Crimean, you name it, if there's a war Britain fought in, he fought in it. Except civil wars. That kind of rubs him up the wrong way.

He fights an honourable Prussian Dullahan in World War 1, followed by intermittent bouts of beating people to death dressed up as a plauge doctor after charging gassed trenches. Steals a Luger from a German officer. That's pretty much his signature weapon.

In WW2 shit gets much, much darker. A few members of the Order organize it so that he's commanding his own tank battalion. Something he's not really cut out for. He's never commanded people before, he prefers to sort of do his own thing. But now they're under his care so he's damn well going to keep them alive, that's for sure. Heh.

He uses his magic to improve their armour/weapons etc, and even takes his Lieutenant as an apprentice. Then war were declared. Cont.

... He is now fighting Rommel's Ghost Division in some cat and mouse chase across most of Western Europe, and then Dunkirk happens, and him and his Division, despite their heavy losses, are shipped straight to Africa, to fight Rommel again. Except now he's fighting a Nazi Half-Werewolf. Cool.

Him and his Division are pinned down and seven shades of buttfucked, and he's forced to for the first time genuinely consider using necromancy, something he's pretty adamant is evil, but he doesn't and has to watch all his friends die in front of him. Is captured by the Nazis, and shipped to Poland, but he escapes and enters a murder frenzy that ends with him meeting up with some members of the VDV. Him and the Russian VDV end up marching on Berlin, and the poor bastard has to witness most of the horrors of the Eastern Front. Bear it in mind that this is a guy who's ideas about war come from Medieval Chivalry.

He kind of cracks after the war, goes AWOL and becomes an alcoholic. Probably at that point the story just kind of ends. Him and his Order friends getting pissed and killing cultists and Templar. Probably end up doing crossovers with other anime/manga/VNs.

A this/Fate crossover would be pretty funny.

I totally get it. Being lengthy is fine, just know that getting too specific waters it down when you're giving an overview. It gives the impression you're not confident in your main concept and are going for a hard sell.

The MC and countless others are drafted into a magical military that protects the world from an invading monster force. Though the military is suffering from an emergency as the very first S rank monster had appeared, while the human force only has A rank soldiers to deploy. They are at a lost and can only delay the monster long enough by throwing everyone they have against it.

The series is based around the MC and his squad training for the eventual battle to the death against the S rank monster.

Hikikomori has his life ruined over anime, manga and dating simulators, he struggles with life untilhe is reincorporated into society

Girl steals prototype military wheeled super-tank during terrorist attack on the base her father worked at. She accidentally drives it to the bottom of a canyon and somehow no one finds it for years, assuming it was destroyed and the girl died.

Actually, she was an antisocial weirdo with a thing for RC vehicles and robot fights. In the years she spends down in the canyon with no way out, a territorial dispute breaks overhead, providing her with ample military hardware to scrap spare parts from due to carriers crashing down below. She learns to operate the super-tank, and heavily modifies it with those spare parts, rigging it to be pilotable on her own and making it able to get off the canyon.

Unfortunately, by the time she makes it out, she's not quite sane. 5 other people were in the tank with her when it crashed, and they all died. Her years in isolation have imbued their "spirits" into her, and her already unstable personality has split, causing her to sometimes be overtaken by one of the others. Perhaps as part of her insanity, she claims her being able to drive a tank meant for multiple people on her own is due to she herself being multiple people.

Anyway, once she gets out, she has one goal in mind: stop the war and reunite with her family. With insane car-fu, she uses the super-tank and its deadly modifications to put a serious dent on the enemy faction, while dealing with the very fucked-up people inhabiting her mind and how they may affect the people that are suddenly gathering around her.

The elements personified as cute girls, with their personalities reflecting how their element behaves (genki alkalis, dandere noble gases, etc.) and we observe them in their daily lives as they do cute chemistry things.

To represent bonding, we throw in some yuri here and there.

An isekai fantasy where the guy gets reincarnated into a familiar of a girl. His power would all depend on her, and she would be the OP one. He would advise her and help her discover her dormant powers.

Mid show plot twist would be the guy disconnecting from her, running away after he starts to disagree with the path she's taking.

Ending would be for him to be sent back to his world after losing to the girl

Reposting my idea from last thread.

The MC is a loner, while not neccessarily a negative person, he's just a manchild who can't keep up with friends his age. He spent his first year at highschool with pretty much no friends. Worried about this, his childhood friend urges him to communicate more with classmates, but with no success.

Then at the beginning of the second year of highschool, one of the MC's classmate got into some kind of trouble, and MC and his childhood friend got mixed up in the trouble and ended up being the ones solving the problem. From then on, the two become the problem solvers of the school (think Oregairu).

As the MC solve more problems surrounding him, he learned to keep up with his peers and get along more with his classmates, but at the cost of neglecting his childhood friend more and more.

The twist is that his childhood friend was in fact an imaginary friend. The MC's refusal to abandon his imaginary friend is what made him unable to make friends in highschool in the first place, and the final problem the story has to offer is what the MC should do with his imaginary friend.

Isekai series centered around a D&D campaign.

The show is split into two parts - one for the real world and one for the fantasy one. The main characters are:

>The rookie, a newcomer to D&D. Plays a totally generic barbarian or adventure or whatever newcomers like to play in their first games.

>The dungeon master's little sister, there for comic relief. She knows the game, but just likes to fuck with everyone else. Plays a bard.

Nameless Hero (yeah I know it is generic as fuck but I don't care enough to make it sound original)

The story is about a former hero past his prime and who is best described as a snarky short tempered old man (if anyone here has read Ranger's Appearance, basically the same personality as Halt) who is on a quest, not for the good of the land or it's people mind you, but on a search for something that was stolen and benefits him and him alone, His name.

Now how his name was stolen was somewhere along his journey a magic spell/curse was placed on him that acted like a form of Alzheimer that would rob him of any relocation of his name unless constantly reminded, but over time more and more people began to only refer to him as "Hero"and not his real name in till no one, not even his current companions (the one's who did know his name at that point where already dead) knew his name making him more of a living symbol and a tool for the church and king's will and less of an actual person.

So the series is about him years after losing his name on a quest to get it back through one of two possible ways, find a way to undo the magic that was set on him, or find one person, just one who remembers who he was not as the hero, but as a man.

To cope with the death of his fiancée, a vain young man samples an experimental mind altering drug. However, the side effects alter his perception—the people he interacts with have fantastical features representing their flaws. The most alarming flaw to the Vain Man is his own: he sees how truly repulsive he is beneath his attractive appearance. He searches for a cure, but is unable to locate the Witch Doctor who fashioned the drug, let alone how to cure the side effects.

Horrified of his condition, the Vain Man plans to jump off a bridge, hoping it shatters his distorted world view, only to notice a plain young woman. Despite her average features, her appearance is that of an ordinary person. The Vain Man abandons his plan, introduces himself to the Plain Woman, and requests her help to cure his condition by conquering his flaw of vanity. Spending time together, the Vain Man grows closer to the Plain Woman, whom reminds him of his fiancée.

Intending to confess to her, the Vain Man later discovers the truth of the Plain Woman. Recognizing her immunity to the side effects, and her view the drug forces people to change for the better in secret confession, the Vain Man realizes the identity of the Witch Doctor. The Vain Man considers exposing the identity of the Witch Doctor to the people, but is conflicted, still carrying lingering feelings for her.

I kicked around an idea for an Alamo/Fall of Reach type story for a D&D style fantasy setting.

>standard 4 newbie adventurers sign up to defend the frontiers of their small, out of the way kingdom
>kingdom has been attacked by undead for years
>undead finally gaining the upper hand
>defensive line begins to shrink, characters get to know each other as their backs edge closer to the proverbial wall
>slowly come to terms with their impending defeat as the undead close in
>they grow stronger with each battle, and despite losing at the end they go out fighting with many a battle cry and glorious death

just a simple fantasy tale of valor, I tend to like 'last stand' stories.
