I liked it at first because it was comfy slice of life with superpowers that pointedly avoided the "plot" that was going on in the background.

Then it scared me when one of the episodes ended with a cliffhanger that seemed to imply "SoL was over, it's plot time". And I fell in love when due to the groups OP powers that shit was solved in the first 5 minutes of the next episode, and we were back to SoL shenanigans.

Also the ending was done well enough to actually make me fill sick due to it being almost entirely non-serious SoL up to that point, and the characters actually reacting uncomfortably and scared about what was happening.
