Watched the movie two weeks ago. It was really fucking great, can't wait for Reiketsu.

I was so glad they kept Araragi and Shinobu shoving a hand in their own head to remember stuff. It really could be animated in the end.

Just got back from watching it in theaters over here.

It was pretty good, hanekawa was really well done. The art was fantastic in places, though not as striking as part 1. The story lagged a bit compated to part 1 as well. I'd say part 1 was better in pretty much all regards.

Except for shinobu fan-service, so obviously part 2 is the best.

So there were some really really impressive sequences in part 2 unfortunately I think they pulled away a little too early. You get teased but then it sort of putters out. In the second fight for example.

Don't get me wrong part 2 is visually striking and has some beautiful animation. It's just not quite as impactful as part 1 in my opinion. The second fight is pretty amazing though.
