I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but does anyone think Buccellati comes across as much more calculating and sinister than he's presented?

Like, look at his entire original crew. There's a disgraced, depressive ex-cop who just wants to die for him, a diseased kid he picked up off the streets, a rich-boy genius who got cut off by his parents for assaulting a professor, and a guy who got unfairly booked for a quadruple-murder.

All of them are unified in how they were at their lowest when he reached out to them, and how indebted to him they are. He actively headhunted Mista because he saw his potential to work for him and knew he didn't have an option of saying no. All of them adore and respect him because he was their savior, and all of them bar Fugo wind up prepared to die for him, with two of them actually doing it.

I know he's a good guy who genuinely cares for his men and for humanity in general, but the level of power and influence he has over his squad and where he gets it from is kind of creepy. I guess I see him as being an extremely manipulative character, but in a good way that's usually for the benefit of the people he's manipulating.

It has its downsides though, in some parts of Vento Aureo the characters showed a pretty shocking disregard for their own wellbeing, look at Mista in White Album.

It would be more interesting to have Buccellati be VA's Jojo with Giorno still being Dio's son. Then it would be the strange dynamic of a Joestar and Brando working together as allies as opposed to vicious rivals.

Also, I know that it's still Jonathan's cock but wouldn't there be some sort of weird side effect of having a vampire father? Like sharper teeth or an aversion to sunlight? Honestly, given how vampirism works in most fiction it makes more sense that offspring of vampries (dhampirs, they're usually called) would be biologically indistinguishable from normal humans.

Dio was born a human, and changed into the form he's in now due to a weird mask that pierced his brain. While the effects it had on him were extreme and permanent, they were environmental rather than genetic. Like if you chop off a mouses tail, then its babies will still be born with tails. You're right though, would've been kind of cute if Gio had some mild vampire-like traits though, like maybe his favorite food could've been black pudding or something.

Alright, so I got bored and autistic yesterday and am making a spreadsheet that list every stand's stats and then averages those stats out.
Right now, the values of the stat ranks are:
>A = 10
>B = 8
>C = 6
>D = 4
>E = 2
>None = 0

However, I'm getting across some weird values for stats, like "?" and "Infinite", and I was wondering how I should set these values.
Right now, "?" is 5, just because it could be anything and I put in the middle ground.
"Infinite" equals 11, since it's above an A rank.

There are also some other weird ones, but I need to know if anyone has a better idea for these values

Yeah, he faltered a bit in Part 5 and early 6, improved a bit towards the end of 6 and start of 7 then went his abolute worst in that department for the rest of 7 and early 8. The last two-three years of 8 have actually been really good for varied faces, literally every new character introduced in the last few years has had a very different face and the background characters are Part 6 tier but more grounded (ie just ugly and not elf ears and shit).

Part 5 was the worst point of his sameface, I think. Part 6 had some more distinctive ones from what I can remember, even minor characters like Miu Miu and so on had pretty distinct brows and shit like that. But he mostly kept the designs in part 6 relatively diverse compared to other parts (nearly all the male enemies in the bloodbath were lumpy, ugly fucks who looked like SDC-tier fodder) so yeah.

Part 4 seemed to be the part where he cared the least about making the characters attractive and thus had some more personal freedom, Josuke and Okuyasu and so on aren't really sexualized at all. Compare to Giorno's group, who are all between the ages of 21 and 15 and all show an awful lot of skin, not to mention their poses.

I love how, in Part 7 and 8, Stand users are cursed to have shitty lives. It adds a sort of trade-off to all of the amazing powers everyone gets.

Come to think of it, the only stand user who actually had good fortune was Poco-Loco, and his entire ability was being lucky.

Liking part 2 isn't an issue at all, but all the other parts have certain aspects that are much, much better than part 2.
Kars is the worst villain in the series, he's evil just because, doesn't have a proper goal or real reason for acting the way he does and didn't even shine at all in part 2.

Caesar is the worst brojo by far. He doesn't feel like a bro at all, most of the time he was just clashing with Joseph which led to a very forced death. He didn't even get his own fight, he was just kind of there like the rest of part 2's supporting cast.

Can you honestly say Joseph pulling out a tommygun on Straizo is better than pretty much every final fight in the series with a shit ton of other great fights that weren't asspulls and had MUCH more brilliant moments?

Part 2's good, and so is part 1. It's just commonly thought here that all the parts after them were better in terms of overall quality and outshine part 2 greatly.

Yeah that does sound stupid, I guess I should explain it better.

The idea I had was for Eyes Of Heaven to be focused on Giorno choosing between either side of his heritage, and for the ending to be focused on Jonathan fighting Heaven DIO with the powers of all the Joestars (a trade-off from all the Joestars fighting with his strength). Jonathan stays for the most of the game absent since Heaven DIO erased him from existence prior to arriving in the new universe but kept his head as a trophy.

Said head gets used to beat him when he accidentally revives Jonathan, and Jotaro acts as the catalyst for this (the Holy Corpse ends up becoming Jonathan's body which allows him to fight Heaven DIO). You'd have all the JoJos having lend their strength to Jonathan and Heaven DIO on the other side, and Giorno would have to decide wether to stick with Jonathan or DIO, with two endings based on what decision he makes.

Now that I think about it this sounds Jorge Joestar-tier
