Dragon Ball's time travel doesn't work that way. That's why Trunks' timeline didn't stop to exist even though the androids turned good in Goku's timeline.

Seriously, has Dragon Ball Super finally found its stride? This arc has been genuinely incredible, and not even in the "eh it's better than GT" way the tournament was, this is riveting stuff. Packed with action, animation has improved all around (occasional derpy frames notwithstanding) and great character development+getting the audience emotionally invested in the characters. I haven't enjoyed Dragon Ball this much in a LONG time.
