It used to used to be, it's an ancient one but it was rolled up with what we know as Sloth today. This is more from the origin of sins as anti-virtues in ancient greece (I.e. socrates plato, aristotle etc)

So, yes its a "sin" it's one of the olderst and original sins, it's up there with "averice" and it has a funny name, but it's pretty much sloth/despair, and the concept is that it's a sin to be depressed/be an alcoholic is the original connotation I believe. But it was upgraded to despair and sloth in later versions.

(My money is on Al or someone else from earth getting to the position of "archbishop of pride" before subaru does because it seems like subaru MIGHT reject it if given the opportunity, but if he's ALREADY pride that's different. Al simply hasn't died yet so we don't know if Return by Death is common or exclusive to him and if/if not why. There's too many variables to make speculating at this point anything but borderline fanfiction.

What? If anything this show actually takes it's time set stuff up. Everything that happens in the first 3 arcs are constantly referenced. I don't really agreed with this. For one thing every serious story goes through a cycle of despair and triumph, but that just how life itself works out. It's a state of constantly conflict and every changing situations especially if one lives and world as dangerous as one in Re:Zero. You're focusing on wrong things, whether Subaru is relaxed situation or desperate one is irrelevant content itself which vastly different in each arc. And really the danger comes with territory he's involved himself in.

The next preview will go at its real time next week. The preview being late was just a one off. I heard it was because they were late on recording the lines for it but the truth is they were just a tad late on submission for the episode. For next week it isn't a problem. Was just a minor issue.

Episode 25 is a two parter. They were debating if they will do a 50 minute episode instead of just making the next one to episode 26. But it's finalized that it's gonna be an extended run for next next week. They are readying promotional material for it, same way as episode 18.

They are kinda scared of what the reaction of the people will be in regards to Rem though, but they are banking on how the people connected through the STORY instead of just playing waifu materials and such.

Season 2 is gonna happen, but much sooner than expected. I was saying that it will be most likely 3-4 years. But now I'm getting that at LEAST 2-2.5 years.

OVAs will be released in between and yes it's gonna be the EX Novels for Theresia and Wilhelm.

IF chapters are being debated still though.

So yeah, just screencap this and wait for next next week. At least maybe around Tuesday or something. You'll start to see the promotion materials for the final episode then.

I didn't hear my buddy from Kadokawa saying anything about episode 25 as a two parter.

Theres one thing though. Kadokawa had tempered expectations about this series. Anime here were correct. They actually liked the series enough and believed on it so much that they were pushing it as much as possible. Only that they didn't expect it to become really really big.
