I really thought some other Singaporean guy who was releasing our shit with his own credit page (with our name on it) was releasing it.

Turns out he deleted all the releases and batoto was back to not being caught up.

So 6 months later, I just shoved all the releases there because I noticed nothing was on there while other sites like Mangahere/mangafox was fully caught up with the cheeky "This release is only for /a/" watermark.

I really don't get the elitism over using mangaupdates and shit. Manga is sort of thing you pick up and throw away in whim and have very low time investment so its natural you would start to rack up huge amount of manga over time.

Speaking as the guy you're defending, I do understand a bit where they're coming from. Batoto is definitely easier because of those leechers, and batoto simplifies the process quite a bit. If I ever get around to it, I might try using mangaupdates a bit more to keep track of the ones that don't get uploaded, it'll just take a bit of time to get into the habit of using the site.

Well for one, those latter two have shit quality and watermarks, so those are obviously out. As for Batoto - for the third fucking time now, this whole discussion is being had because of Batoto missing things. A site missing things is a good reason to use a different site to keep track of things. Seriously, I keep making this point and you keep completely missing it and trying to make excuses for why Batoto is missing things, but it doesn't matter - as long as it is incomplete and another site is more complete, using that other site's database will be superior.
