Nah this is the eventual result of teasing the fans of plot development and getting none of it. There are probably 25 or so episodes left and still NO indication of anything important happening yet. We still have yet to see the ending but I don't feel it will be something worthwhile, that we had to wait over 2 years and 120 episodes at minimum to see.

These are fake. Trust me, I made the first batch of fake spoilers (Yuri vs. Yugo, Edo & Kaito vs. Yuri). I can tell these are fake because the whole Romaji for 123 reads like a sentence, which is what you get if you use Google Translate. The word Joker should have been properly translated into Japanese which it wasn't "jōkā" - a fault of the translator. Moreover the guy threw in Asuka at the end which tells me that he read how people criticized my spoilers as fake for not including her. Also, "the insane BB".. that's not the tone and word choice that the spoilers use. Not to mention that the nips don't make episode names that have rhythm in English ("Chained Beast Unleashed")

tl;dr don't despair /arc/fags, those spoilers are fake and I can tell because I am a fake-spoiler maker.

i agree on that, the anime hasn't given a shit about extra deck preformapals and pendulum dragons have strickly been a fusion archetype, if Yuya were to xyz summon it'd be dark rebellion and maybe a magician monster to rank up xyz change into requiem then again into rebellion and if he were to synchro it'd be enlightenment paladin again so he can abuse the retrieve a spell effect to grab an action magic card to save either himself or Jack then he would go into Nirvana High through pendulum summon and as such, he'll have a field where he has the monster he gained from Jack's help and the monster he gained from Yuto's partnership standing side by side with him in the middle trying to stop the beast and just as it looks like Yuya is making the finishing move Sanders drops in and the episode ends. We'd get new cards,It'd show that Yuya's giving this his all with both his allies fighting beside him at once and when that power proves to be insufficient here that's when the fusion pendulum comes out.

The legacy characters are handled bad but it's not their fault the Arc-V cast isn't developed. They barely appear and don't hog much screen time. The Arc-V cast has all been cast aside for Yuya. Even when the cast gets screen time it isn't to move their character forward. Tsukikage didn't do shit but die. Sawatari is a joke at this point. Gon had a cool moment but it was all at the expense of Yuya who is his sole purpose for going forward in the show. Gon could have had a really cool flashback when he defended Yuya but instead it was just generic protag protection.

So many things i dont know where to begin.
The villains are mishandled. We are told from very early on that Academia is a very serious threat but other than the nameless fodder defeating other nameless fodder or minor characters they do nothing else. We are always told they are a credible threat but by the viewers view point they do nothing to become credible. Yuri is also hyped up to this but he does nothing as well. It's as if the director is desperately telling us that "Academia is serious business" but shows nothing for it. Instead of having some major villains face the main characters frequently and building up their "evilness" and competence resulting in development for both sides, the writer/director heads in the opposite direction and when they realize their screw up you end up trying to fix thing quickly ending up with BB.
Then the plot. Standard's climax's build up was completely halted and we went on to a huge sidetrack with the same length as the standard arc. Synchro was full of mistakes with the most obvious being the pacing. Thrust in yet another tournament the characters are separated by very "convenient" means with character interactions slowed to a standstill. A slew of references to 5Ds just for the heck of it and a conflict with, so far, no connection to the main plot. When things pick up the pace we are cock blocked by a main character.
Some characters got some major development, other some minor development but most of the characters just exist.
Another problem is the character development. Most of the main characters just exist. Other characters have had their character arc but still hold a large amount of screentime, e.g. Shun

and then the show keeps introducing new characters without the proper build up or development for them or the old characters.

The last point is closely tied to the Xyz arc.
Yuya turning into EGAO Jesus is blaring bad following the admittedly good arc he had in Synchro.
Let's cut it short. New characters show up. No significant build up, no significant development.
Old characters get shafted again.
New villains, no buildup, competence similar to an off handed comment and cheap resolution.

Now on to Fusion. The plot will pick up from now right? Not as much as you would think.
The show continues with the mistakes of the previous 2 arcs while trying to fix them but the fixes end up shoddy.
It has some good moments but compared to what happened it's just not enough. Just build ups with no payoff resulting in viewer fatigue.

The real question is how will pendulum be treated in the next series. With fusion, synchro, xyz, and ritual, you can simply write a duel as "normal" where you build up materials to summon your ace. Pendulum is so unique because you can explode onto the board with relatively little setup, just two pendulum cards. This means that it's going to be hard to pull off casually, (think Multiple Piece Golem or Photon Twin Lizard) without establishing the duelist as someone powerful.

I really hope they keep other summoning methods in the show, that's what I like about Arc-V but I know they'll probably have everybody using the new method with some occasional synchro,fusion,xyz and pendulum users. Zexal was a big step in a different direction for this franchise and we moved from adult-like protagonists and supporting cast with mature, subtle themes to younger characters with idealistic, kiddy themes the writers like to bash in your face. As much as people hate Action Cards, you have to admit, there have been a lot less situational ass saving cards in people's decks because of them. Because you don't have to shove half-unbreak into the characters deck, you can give them more usable cards which makes for a more usable deck. ARC-V produced, without a doubt, the most competent anime decks of any series. Phantom Knights, D/D/D, and Odd-Eyes are all meta relevant. Other decks, like Superheavy Samurai, Raidraptors, Lunalights, Abyss Actors, Speedroid, even Ally's guppy deck, can all make for good rogue/pet decks with amazing combos. We're not stuck with unusable junk like Bounzers, Butterspy, Tannhauser_Gate.dek, Umbral, Gorgonic, Otomotopea.

I think the official ruling is that it has to relate to the anime. We're not here to talk about some BA deck that topped or about how to build a Lightsworn deck. If you want to talk about a character's cards getting released or about the feasibility of Jack.dek and how the cards he uses in the anime tie in, that should be okay. Absolutely no "Rate/Fix My Deck" would be a safe assumption.

Only issue would be what to make it, something like neo space pathfinder or an elemental hero?
