To answer your question:
The over exaggerated nature and intensification of a sport that from the outside is really boring makes it quirky and hilarious. coupled with tight writing, interesting characters and rivalries makes it a neat exiting sports show.
The fantastic OST and art style only add to this minus a few odd shots.
