I recently started it, 10 episodes in, and I'm not loving it. The sexual assault/problematic content is almost unbearable. The MC is so painful to watch. I really hope this changes, because otherwise I may never be able to finish it. The visuaøs are really nice, though.

As much as I hate the term E7 really was a "babies first mecha show". It borrows a lot of elements from other shows most notably Gundam 79 but it doesn't really do anything interesting or new with it.

It's a lot like The Force Unleashed in that respect, there is nothing actively wrong with it but nothing really right with it either. Which is kind of ironic given that Gundam is a basically a very original re-imagining of Star Wars.

E7 is like the perfect show for me, great animation, grand adventure, has a bit of everything in it without really half assing and its great to see Renton slowly get older and become more mature even with his appearance changing slowly which made it even better.
AO was ass but I still enjoyed the ride and I still teared up at the ending
