Also this keeps reinforcing how marineford was way too early in the story. Doflamingo's maximum power and now cracker completely dwarfs most of hte shit we saw on marineford

Marineford was way too small of a battleground to contain what should have been a world level fight with all of the devil fruit users on both sides. I am not sure how you could have properly drew it to convey the level of strength we were supposed to see but Marineford did a disservice to everyone. Especially people like Mihawk. People continue to downplay him when he will inevitably be stronger than both cracker and doflamingo. Both who demonstrated abilities that would completely wreck in the marineford we saw.

Let's talk Brulee and Cracker

They're the 8th daughter and 10th son, so assuming roughly an equal birth rate of sons and daughters (only roughly, as we know there are more sons than daughters, though not by much, and that Pound gave her two daughters in a row), their births and ages would be pretty close together, and they likely would have grown up side by side.

Interestingly, they both have rather similar facial scars. Cracker's is wider, and they both go diagonally in different directions, but it's still an odd trait to share coincidentally. Not to mention they both seem to have suffered some kind of trauma in the past: Brulee thinks she's hideous and has a violent envy of Nami and Carrot's traditional beauty, which is obviously related directly to her scar. Cracker claims to abhor ever the smallest amounts of pain, and avoids it at all costs, which means that whichever battle resulted in his wound must have either been one hell of a loss, or it's the source of his phobia.

Clearly Cracker and Brulee each have a bit of history that was permanently damaging physically and emotionally, but maybe, just maybe, it was the same event for the two of them. Maybe when they were kids, hence the psychological issues.

Or maybe it's nothing and Oda just likes drawing scars.

Other Paramecia are permanently changed, but can't produce the thing: Luffy is example.

Buggy and Berrygood have similar abilities, but of opposite kind (slashing and punching).

It's easier to say that Paramecia are fruits that are not Logia or Zoan, rather than say that a fruit is Paramecia because it has a specific kind of ability.

It doesn't just work that way. Only some fruits abilities work this way in some situations, like Luffy's neck stretching or Buggy's parts existing well outside the range of his powers.
