Atui forces Kyuru to confess, he does, but misunderstandings happen and Nekone and Shinonon think it's directed at Shinonon. Nekone wish him happiness, Yakutowaruto says he got good eyes for women, Atui runs away.

Mikazuchi goes to ennakamui, Haku goes alone to meet him, he reminisces a bit about the day they became the emperor's hands, then they start skipping some text, and Mikazuchi tells Oshutoru to rest in Ennakamui forever (die).

Munechika tells Anju to treat her like her mother, and Oshutoru as her father. She gets all flustered and starts asking if they're married, since when, and when did they get so close. Munechika says that if that's how their relationship needs to be, that's how it'll be. Oshutoru corrects Munechika by telling Anju that Munechika means that she wants her to think of her as a mother figure, that's all, calming Anju down.

He did what he had to do because his people were suffering. Kuuya was alright for a decent amount of the plot, choices were decent at first, until she started attacking innocents and going full Hitler. When she was attacking the neutral bird people and Hakuro's people, you knew she was going dark.

Her generals were basically all psychopaths as well, she didn't have the king aura needed to reign them in at all. You can say that's not her fault, but why is she king if she can't control anything there.

When Genjimaru abandoned her that's when you knew she went down the wrong path, because that guy is pretty loyal.

I don't think Onkamiyamukai was neutral, considering they were the epicenter of the Witsu worship. They were arbiters, but only to the nations who worshiped Witsu.

Again, I'm not defending Kuuya's actions, but just pointing out the double standards that go with her and others who have done the same thing.

However, she did pay for her sins in the long run. She's finally able to live her life her own way (which, ironically enough, her trying to be an adult ends up with her going full infant mentality at the end). She's no saint, but she does deserve to have some happiness despite her flaws. Her intentions were somewhat good at the beginning, but then she fucked it all up.

The preview showing her Avu Kamuu makes me hope that at least her and Sakuya will be alive and happy (for me, Sakuya is the main one that deserves happiness because she got nothing but suffering)

She's not really different from a lot of the other enemies Hakuro fought and beat, and befriended. Its not that she really has to atone by being broken mentally. She was one step away from joining the heroes regardless, before Kamyu and Dii came in and fucked her up for no reason. Her joining them wouldn't be a big deal either, that's how it works here.

However that doesn't change that there is a difference between what the heroes did, and that she did fuck up. Hakuro was only reactionary, while Kuuya was lead around by her advisors, went Hitler, and tries to destroy some villages because "The rest of the world is laughing at us, we must destroy them" and took out the birds.

Hakuro had to save a few villages and just hold off the robot army she was having slaughter people, which lead to Aruru being killed again. Her advisors were psychos, and she let them have free reign killing people which is what they always wanted. Her advisors weren't after anything noble really, they were after blood and desire of power. And I think she kind of knew this, but they could push her around. I don't even remember the catalyst that lead to her doing all of this offhand, but she still went down a bad path. I think they just launched the attack because they were afraid of Tuskur because it was growing too strong.

The difference is that Hakuro hates war, he's always reactionary and doesn't rush into battle until he literally has to with no choice. Hakuro never creates a rebellion or a war for no reason, he created Tuskur village because of an oppressive government that destroyed entire villages.

Kuuya was going to be forgiven like everyone else, just like Touko and her friends who burned down Hakuro's home village, but then a random element came in and broke her.

Although, the main comparison that needs to be brought up with her is that she also was reactionary to the main event that caused her to go spiraling down in the first place. Kunnekamun was threatened by Kanhordari and the rest of his men simply because they hated the bunnies. She had no choice but to respond because the towns and villages that were allied with Kunnekamun were attacked by his forces.

Just like Hakuoro reacted to Sasante when his men killed Tusukuru and later, when Inkara attacked Hakuoro for revenge, when Orikakan challenged Hakuoro due to mind control by Dii, then is provoked by Niwe after that.

Kuuya is a case of inheriting problems she did not create and unfortunately, could not make sound decisions because she was young. It's not because she liked war; she was forced to make a decision using bad judgment.

The Hitler comparison, no matter how much of a meme it is, doesn't apply to Kuuya. Hitler is responsible for bringing Germany out of rough times, but went off the deep end because he hated Jews. If anything, Hauenkua or Hien would fit that bill better because they were under the mentality of killing everyone else who wasn't a bunny.
