Helck's paneling and action sequences got pretty good somewhere around chapter 30-40. It's hard to pin point a super awesome page though, but there are plenty of some couple of really nice panels like the top half of this page. The bottom is ok, but it'd be much more awesome if it were more follow up actions of Rafaed and Anne instead of all those changes of perspective and a fucking explosion.

Fucking Gohan, what a disappointment this was. Seeing his full power unlocked followed by him kicking Buu's ass at the start of the fight was so satisfying, but Toriyama had to get him to job like immediately after.
Doesn't help Gohan's locked power was hyped for a lot of episodes, or so I remember.

Most shounen action is really simple and only good for select panels of "cool" moments. But on the other hand, I've never been able to tell what the fuck is happening whenever I read a seinen that has action in it. It's like someone spilled ink all over the page.

If we're talking fight choreography, that was always the thing I liked most about Soul Eater. Most series have pretty lackluster choreography and the characters feel stiff and don't interact with the environment often or make use of kinetic force and shit like that, but Soul Eater's fights usually got me excited.

While Toei doesn't do Toriyama's great fight scenes justice at all and instead rely on excessive beam spam, looped animation and have terrible pacing, which is how most people recognise Dragon Ball fights now.
