Great visuals and animations. The episodic pacing is probably something to argue about, but it was handled fairly well and the individual plots were delivered solidly.

Mai and Reina are excellent fapping and waifu material.

Ruru is eye-candy, but obnoxious, but when she enters Natsuno-mode she's best girl.

AAAAAA-Girl had so much potential but ended up the most forgettable of the recurring characters.

The worst episodes were Koito's introduction and the monkey episode.

Really hated the episode with the play, I nearly dropped the show right there and then for some reason.

The single mom episode was pretty good though.

It was always trying too hard to be wacky and fun. It had a cast of 1-note, drab archetypes which it didn't really try to expand on or make likeable at all, which it then threw into wacky hijinks as if just expecting that to create fun. But bc I didn't care about the characters at all, seeing them in these scenarios did nothing for me, and it ended up being boring. The way it looked was a mixed bag. Ishihara's direction was inventive and expressive as always, but felt wasted on stories which weren't those things at all. Some of the visuals were creative, but didn't seem to serve any purpose and were just random and sometimes confusing. The use of colour was garish and tacky looking, once again it seems like they were intent on making a show which was "fun" and thought "bright colours are fun, right???" and so slapped pastel colours onto everything randomly. The best things I can really say about the show is that the ED was nice, the corny final scene of episode 10 where they watch the fireworks together was somehow actually a bit heart warming, and the main villain was fucking hot. 4/10
