If it helps, I watched it when it aired and got trolled hard. Iirc that was the most interesting show that summer, and Kyoani ruined it.

Some of the animation was pretty good though, some day I will probably rewatch it.

I got myself hooked up with Cross Ange because of the /a/ threads. Regret it. Regret every single episode I watched and because I started and didn't want to drop it I just watched it in 1.5x speed to just somehow get over with this ride.
