The first season 52 episodes is good, the following seasons aren't as good.

It's a good manga.

It's a fairly decent reference/parody show if you're familiar with other shows from the period. Hinagiku is also really cute.

I think the first season is comedy gold, but the second season follows the plot more and especially the relationship between Hayate and Hina. Third season was kind of meh, likewise the movie. I haven't watched the last fourth season, at least I think it's the last.

I haven't read the manga in a year or two either. Before it was my favorite manga.
