Like others have said, IchiRuki had everything that makes fujo ships popular except Rukia is a female. Fujo ships never actually have a chance at becoming canon but they have good chemistry and bromance. You can only imagine the potential this series had but it ended up being serialized in shitty weekly shounen jump.

BLEACH would have been much better in a monthly issue. It's setting was mature enough to have complex and in depth stories which didn't have to rely on nonsensical fighting and battle shounen. It would have worked very well like Vagabond.

The urban vibe from some of the music is the comfiest I've heard from any anime. For some reason I was already feeling nostalgic the first time I watched the anime about 7 years ago, kind of like when you smell something and suddenly the memories from years ago come rushing back.
