Keep in mind I haven't read LN myself, I only repeat how I remember the spoiler, but even if I fucked up the details, the crucial point will be there.
Princess starts a revolt in order to overthrow the emperor. Military divides into factions, with MC going with the princess and the redhead going with opposition. The two eventually fight with each other and while the battle is resolved positively, looking like a happy end, right after the redhead takes a sniper bullet aimed at MC and dies. Princess kills the emperor and becomes empress herself. MC goes into PTSD for literal years while the princess (now empress) becomes evil herself. Also the healer is an agent of the enemy country.
