Umineko was only good until EP3. EP4 is crap halfway in, then it becomes good during the other half. EP5 is almost purely metastuff, so it was fun for that but shit for mystery. EP7 is good if you think of it as a standalone episode. EP6 and EP8 are irredeemably bad.
