Has any one else just been blown away by this? Definitely my AOTS.

I like it but it's hard to be blown away when it's not even half as good as Barakamon or Usagi Drop.

Manga is one of my favorites.

Shokugeki is just too fast paced with match after match and they spend too much time on opponents talking shit at each other.

It's pretty great.
However, it feels a little weird how the 'it's gotta be in a highschool' curse struck this time.
There is zero reason that the guy needs to be a teachre

It makes him having a highschool girl cook dinner for him and his daughter every day (with parental consent) a lot less weird.

It's also probably one of the most mundane jobs you can give an adult male character that doesn't involve salaryman-tier household absence.
