I really liked the manga and got hyped for the anime, but lost interested around the time the anime pasted what was scanned at the time, some where around the mystery lake arc.

I'd be hyped for a S2. I'd watch any show (from genres I like) which is at this level of quality. It wasn't the best thing ever but it had a lot of entertaining points. It was like an enjoyable anime massage. I loved how there were some more grounded stand alone stories and then suddenly the big bad is a sorcerer of Tzeentch and warp grenades are getting tossed around.
