Evangelion didn't need a sequel, rebuild or rewrite. The rebuilds are about as much of a cash-in and unnecessary as Dragon Ball GT or Super.

Unfortunately, that's the majority of these threads. People shouting off their opinions like canon-fire, but sometimes you'll find constructive threads and those are always neat.

I actually think the movies (starting from the second) are slightly better than whatever harem wish fullfilment the original eva was.
